In 2019, Neil and Mark Gartland decided to combine their expertise and embark on a new venture together. They became co-owners of two local businesses– Gartland Supply and Gartland Turf Solutions.
Gartland Supply isn’t a fancy chain store. It’s a fixture in our community– a place where you can get the things you need for your pets, livestock, and lawn– and shoot the breeze about the game last night. Neil and Mark grew up in Martinsburg, and they’re invested in our local schools, their kids’ ball teams, and the wellbeing of friends and neighbors. The nicest thing about Gartland’s is how they get to know you and what you need, so you can count on fast, friendly service every time.

providing top-quality lawn, garden, and pet supplies to our community. Family is at the heart of everything I do, including my wife Jodi, our sons Owen and Alex, and our multiple pets. We love spending time outdoors, working on projects, and enjoying the simple joys of life in the Cove.

With a strong background in lawn and turf management, I enjoy helping customers find
the best solutions for their lawns and gardens. As a dedicated pet owner, I personally trust and
use the pet products we sell, so you can be confident that they are the highest quality.

After graduating from Central High School, I earned my degree in Turfgrass Science from Penn State. Decades of experience as a Superintendent of golf courses in our area gave me the turf expertise and business management skills necessary to take on a new challenge. Taking on the ownership of Gartland Supply and Gartland Turf Solutions with my brother, Mark, has given me the opportunity to refocus my career and put my family first.

I’m married to my wife, Christi, and together we have two boys, Isaiah and Noah. In my free time, I follow Penn State football and basketball, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and enjoy playing and coaching sports with my two boys.
